Very few things in business stand still. The same job roles will often be performing different tasks to those that were typical 5 years ago. The tasks themselves are also subject to change to meet new demands.
An effective system will allow managers to create review dates for procedures and protocols. The date line for these may vary depending upon the nature of the procedure. The line manager can then be automatically notified of protocols requiring review. A review may reveal that no changes are required – or the documents may be updated.
